Hip Hip!

School's O-U-T! And I had a fat ZERO for number of students failing English- sweet! (we sweated it out at the end with a couple....)

"Turn away... I'm hideous!" A.K.A. "I have a lot going wrong in the facial area these days."

Some of you may be wondering about how the stink eye is holding up. I am very excited to report that it is almost all the way gone! As you can see in the following pictures, it is all the way gone on one side, and just a little blood remains on the other. At its worst, the white of my eye was completely covered in blood. Yes, it was freaky.

If you look closely, you can see a little blood around the perimeter of the iris.

You may have also noticed my fabulous new bangs style. I say "fabulous" sarcastically. I went in for a side bangs trim and came out looking like a nerdy character off an 80's sitcom.

So between stink eye and bad bangs, I have not been "bringing it" in the looks department. But seriously- LOOK AT THOSE BANGS. WHAT HAPPENED????

On a positive note, while in Starkville last weekend, my wonderful Dad fixed PJ Joey's horrible buzz job I did over Spring Break. She looks so good now! PJ loves her Granddog Dad.

Stink Eye and Coupon Crazy

There will be no pictures and you can thank me later, but apparently, I have had tons of eye blood vessels to pop/explode/combust, causing me to have a rather demonic look in my left eye.

Yes, I saw it and spontaneously freaked out/nearly fainted/died.

It doesn't hurt, but it is really freaking me out. And my students out. They don't like looking at me. Well, some of them think it's cool and say it's like a horror movie, which doesn't help me at all.

During my panic attack, Caleb called our dear family friend doctor who calmed us down and said it's normal and that it will heal itself in a few weeks. Like SIX weeks. BAH!

In other news, I have decided to become a crazy coupon lady. I am working on a coupon notebook organizer, researching coupon tricks on the internet and talking to anyone who is an expert. Do you have any tips or websites for me? Please don't hesitate to share. My ultimate goal is to be one of those people on the news who buys an entire month's worth of groceries and after totalling the coupons up, I owe like .42 cents. Victory will be mine! (Stink eye and all!)
