Since Caleb flew to South Carolina to visit our friend Ro Taylor and to watch the Bulldogs, I've been spending the weekend at the folks, getting to re-live the days of sharing a bathroom with Molly, watching scary movies with Mom and hearing my dad's loud cheers from the back bedroom as Auburn does something big during a game on ESPN. I also have access to the Internet, so even though it's been a long time, I thought I'd give the blog a go.
First of all, I had to share this picture of what I found in the kitchen. This is what life is like when your Dad is a veterinarian and there are no Chip Clips on hand:
I'm not making fun, Dad! I think it's funny and resourceful.
Luckily, they are cuter together than I could have hoped for. Whew!
Love it!
Love it!Next up... the startling news that I KNOW A CONTESTANT VYING FOR "NEW YORK'S" LOVE in the next in stallment of VH1's "I Love New York 2." The last version boasted the biggest batch of losers in television history and it makes one ponder how they could rally up enough guys for a sequal. Not only were the producers successful in this feat, but it seems that my old RoadRunner Pledge Classmate Juan McCullum signed up for a spot and got it. All we know is that his nickname is "Pretty." Pretty Desperate is more like it.

If you must check this out for yourself, click on the article. Prepare to renounce any loyalty you share in being from Mississippi. He is going to shame us all.
Finally, while I was thinking about Juan, I started to think about all the random people I know, which led me to think about all the random people in my phone. I have everyone from close friends and family, to KDs I had to call for Standards from 4 years ago, to Church Planters in Canada, to the line to vote for Blake in American Idol. I also have the line to get tickets for Conan O'Brian tickets just in case I ever need it and the number for Carmine's a restaurant in New York City. Why? I'm not really sure. There's a girl from my Freshman Hall that I was supposed to call her to jog with one morning. I literally never saw her again and can't really remember what she looks like. But her Freshman cell phone number is still in my phone. Why can't I let go?
This is not a shot of my actual gradebook. Look at the names.... duh.
Not a picture of me, by the way, but I do have a tatoo similar to this one. Only it's on my upper back rather than lower. And it says "Shine" in a really pretty script. It's pretty cool.
