So I guess no one is really hitting up our blog too much these days considering we NEVER POST anymore, but let me just say that even though we thought we were going to be able to pirate Internet from our neighbors, apparently that isn't going to work. So posts could possibly dwindle down.
In the meantime, I'm sitting here at the MSU Library printing off a test. It is really hard to make a test by the way. Some students finish in like 7 minutes and then they can't occupy themselves for the next 43 minutes while others try to finish. I gave a Public Speaking test yesterday and someone made an 18.
This is not a shot of my actual gradebook. Look at the names.... duh.On another note, Labor Day was spent in Florida with my the hubby, my family and my Nana and Lewie.

We had a grand time, ate A LOT and I managed to get burned AGAIN even though I swore I would never put my body through the turmoil again.
Not a picture of me, by the way, but I do have a tatoo similar to this one. Only it's on my upper back rather than lower. And it says "Shine" in a really pretty script. It's pretty cool. One more note about the peeling- my forehead and nose are the worst, which isn't great because I can't hide it that well at school. All the students have been really worried about "How ashy Mrs. Butts is." For the record, I'm not ashy- I'm peeling!

I didn't know what had happened to yall -- you just seemed to have dropped off a cliff somewhere. Glad you are back.
Miz Butts are you sure it is peeling and not just ashy?
As far as the test stuff goes with the quick finishers and low scores, Melinda says, "welcome to public school teaching." She suggests you get some hidden word puzzles, etc. to occupy their time.
The secret to controlling the class is to always have something else to hand them when they hand in their 7 minute tests.
Saunders and I are in the same boat!!! The peeling still hasn't stopped. I think we gained a lot of wrinkles from our Labor Day fun.
For the record, my precious daughter does NOT have a tatoo. And if she did, it would not say "shine", it would say "Mother".
i am so glad that you are back. i check the blog daily, with no luck of a new story...until today!
i was really worried that you put your actual gradebook on the blog, thanks for clarifying.
also...i really thought that was your back and thought it very brave of you to post a naked pic on the blog. Again, thanks for the clarification.
i think you should get a tat that says WPH.
do you really have a tat?
i want one...
Hi Tricia. This is Ashley Leonard. I met you at the WPHS beginning of the year cookout with my husband Alan (if you need pics to remind you check out our blog). I love the idea of WPHS doing Spamalot. What play did y'all are y'all doing this year and when?
