26 is all right.

I have changed a lot since I turned 26. Well, two things have changed really:

1. I have fully embraced the wearing of skinny jeans. I think what took me so long is that they are called skinny jeans, so I thought I needed skinny legs/thighs/butt to pull it off. I sported them a couple times in the winter with boots, but NOW I'm wearing them with sandals. I think that is the stylish thing to do because we went to the movies and all the high school girls were wearing their skinny jeans with flip flops or flats. I also saw a teenage boy wearing skinny jeans and I felt weird, but I decided he was the weird one not me. If you see me in them and I look terrible, you know what? Don't tell me. I'm happy with my new confidence in the skinny jeans.

2. This makes Caleb mad when I talk about it, but I have discovered the BEST way to be "green." It is so simple, I don't know why the celebs haven't picked up on it already. We went to Marble Slab last night and the girl behind the counter asked me, "Cup or Cone?"
I asked if cones were extra and she said no. BINGO. Get a cone, save Mother Earth.
I personally eat a LOT of ice cream, so instead of getting an evil styrofoam cup, I will now only get a waffle cone. I have decided that this is going to be the one way I contribute to "decreasing my carbon footprint." When someone asks me if I'm green, I am going to say, "yes, I always get a cone instead of a cup." Brilliant.

To finish this post, I wanted to show off this little cutie pie:
I took pictures for a family I met here in Mobile and I put the pics on the photography website if you want to check them out! (click here).
Let me know what you think!

1. i love wearing skinny jeans. and you're way smaller than me so i know they look great on you.
2. i'm with you on the cone thing. ever since the half marathon, i feel the need to eat EVERYTHING IN SIGHT. and the other night when i thought i needed ice cream? i went straight to coldstone to get a cone of course.

I admire you because I have not been able to build the confidence for skinny jeans yet. SO, props for that.

I also have decided that you must drive to Glen for my wedding one day (whenever it might occur) to take pictures of my nuptials. Your skillz behind the camera are so great, Trish! I'm so, so impressed!

And lastly, you are so right. That kid rocks. I love his chubby little fingers :)
