PJ Joey got spayed today and I feel like my very own child had a surgical procedure done. Last night before she went to bed, we discussed her reproductive rights with her and she agreed that this is for the best.
Tonight, post-op, she has been very quiet and still and loving. I believe I prefer my dog to be recuperating from surgery- she is so much more pleasant to have around. She's too tired/doped up to chew on things like The Holy Bible or Caleb's new iTouch (update: she ate Caleb's Bible last week and his iTouch last night.... yikes). I keep saying how much better she is when she's sick. I think Caleb is worried I'm going to start slipping Windex or Ajax into her water bowl like that mom did on the Sixth Sense to that creepy dead little girl. PJ Joey really is quite enjoyable when she's not at 100%.

poor pj joey! and poor caleb...is the itouch ruined??
At the rate she's chewing if she gets ill mysteriously, I'd point a finger at Caleb before you...
let me be the first to say that I am now an owner of an iphone. (as of today. BIG day!)
anyway, I would be more than annoyed at my precious sophie if she even licked it. Protective? Yes. I love an Apple product.
Make sure she doesn't chew her stitches. Sophie did. And it was very pricy to take her to the animal ER in the middle of the night to have her stapled and fitted for one of those lampshade things.
best of luck. to the whole fam.
