Gator Bowl

Wowie Kazowie. The Gator Bowl was so much fun! Although we HATED having to check out of The Addison, and thus saying goodbye to our new BFF's Bob and Shannon (Innkeepers Extraordinaire), we still managed to have a good time at the game. Here are a couple of notes:

-I thought the concession stands were de-light-ful. Usually at events like this, it's like $12 for one and a half chicken tender basket. Not this stadium. Food was plentiful and good.
-the entertainment was a salute to veterans and it really was a tear-jerker. Whoever planned all that did a nice job.
-the other entertainment was the guy who used to sing for Lonestar ("I'm already there..." song) The headliner for the last bowl game we went to was Taylor Hicks, who danced on stage awkwardly with his harmonica and elementary school girls who for some reason were wearing white dresses and were on the stage. So even though I don't know the Lonestar guys name, he was better.
-MSU winning by so much did not hurt at all.
