Drying Out

So... 6 soaked to the bone people crammed into Caleb's vehicle Friday night after the game. All the water that dripped off of us and into the seat cushions and floor mats got to stew for the next three days.

His car reeks. It's kind of a mildew-y and body odor-y smell all mixed together and it is BAD.

Since it rained for three straight days, we couldn't air his car out. Today it quit raining for about two hours, so we opened up all the doors and hoped for the best. It still stinks, but we have a plan: Operation Febreeze I guess.

Here are our shoes sitting outside, still soaking wet. There may be no hope for these bad boys. If they smell like Caleb's car, then I may just throw them all away. GROSS.
A quick pic of some of the stormy mess. We have small limbs, but that's pretty much it throughout the neighborhood. Yay!
Another example of how we have random stuff drying all over the house.... I will cry if my cute laptop bag smells bad!
Even the paychecks for my students/camera operators were soaked. They've dried nicely though (and don't stink). Remember when getting $30 paychecks for 5 hours of work was serious money?
And why should Caleb be the only one getting to experience my "Hurricane Hair?"
I hope everyone had a good Labor Day weekend and that tropical depression 13/Tropical Storm Lee doesn't head your way.
